When do we recommend the training “DiSC® Model for Managers”?

  • it’s difficult for the manager to lead the team to a result, to encourage and motivate his employees on a daily basis
  • the manager needs to improve communication and cooperation skills with other managers in the organization
  • the manager needs an additional tool for a better understanding of his strengths and how to adapt his daily work to them

What is the training about?

Dr. William Marston of Columbia University created the DiSC theory. He divided four types of personality or behavior: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness.

The training “DiSC® Model for Managers” is about the four human behavior models and their combinations. Participants learn to understand their own and other people’s behavior and adapt to it in order to achieve the goal, for example, motivate for a better result, encourage change, solve internal conflicts in the team.

Before the training, participants fill in a questionnaire to find out their profile according to the DiSC® model. We offered two options for evaluating participants.

Before the training, the participants fill in evaluation questionnaires, which are later collected and analyzed by the WIN partner’s trainer. Each participant receives a description of their profile. The trainer adapts the training to the results of the participants, finding more relevant examples and development tasks.

Assessment steps:

  • DiSC assessment: participants will receive a DiSC assessment questionnaire in paper or digital form (which takes approximately 20 min to complete).
  • Profile: The coach prepares a personalized behavioral profile that allows you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself through the prism of each unique DiSC style
  • Better relations with colleagues: during training participants can compare their DiSC styles, understand and adapt to each one’s unique needs or style

  • better relationships with colleagues: Catalyst allows participants to instantly compare their DiSC styles, understand and adapt to each one’s unique needs or style

The training includes 8 practical tasks that allow the participants to use the knowledge gained during the training by modeling work situations.
