Team Coaching

We help teams to find the best possible solutions themselves by identifying available opportunities and existing limitations. The coach also offers methods for generating ideas that encourage the team to look at things from a different perspective and discover new opportunities for better team performance.

When do we recommend team coaching?

  • the team needs to improve motivation, cooperation, and mutual trust
  • the team reviews its mission, vision, and values
  • the team is working on a unit, company, or project strategy
  • the team is looking for opportunities to improve its performance

How do team coaching sessions work?

The session is led by a team coach, who asks participants questions to delve into the dynamics of team development and understand its needs. Questions are the coach’s main tool to help the team come to a solution on their own, understanding the options available and existing limitations.

The coach also offers methods for generating ideas, adapting them to a specific problem situation. This encourages the team to look at things from a different perspective and come to an optimal solution.

The duration and regularity of coaching sessions depend on the goal. The team can work with a coach in different formats, such as:

  • if the team is planning a strategy, the coach conducts a few sessions to help define priorities and formulate goals
  • if the team needs regular support in monthly planning, the session can take place once a month for 2 hours
  • if the team has one specific issue, for example, the team lacks motivation or there is a conflict that the employees cannot resolve on their own, it can be a one-time 2-hour coaching session

What are the benefits for the team?

  • an opportunity to look at the problem from another perspective, abstracting from personal emotions and assumptions
  • learned problem-solving skills through communication
  • a common understanding of the goal, clear steps to achieve them
  • finding a solution to a specific team issue

What are the benefits for the company?

  • a self-sufficient team that is able to identify the problem and solve it together
  • high level of employee engagement and motivation
